Saw a few people say they didn't watch the 12th Doctor's era so
PLEASE DO IT
12 is probably the best Doctor even if 10 is my favourite and Series 10 is peak Who

Going from Tennant and then the youngest actor to play the role to Capaldi was probably massive whiplash for people without prior experience of the show 😭
For anyone who wasn't there to see it, this change happened during peak Superwholock hype and people were genuinely upset the Doctor wasn't a Tumblr sexyman anymore.
(Even though Peter is quite the handsome gentlemen)
WE ARE A NATION OF GOATS
The writing, imo, starting not great but it developed with him and 12 is such a masterpiece
Like Bill's death was so mean-spirited and poorly written that I just gave up. Watching the Doctor give a dumb speech about doing good to the person who murdered her made me actually hate Capaldi.
Literally In love
nah but seriously, as someone who watched his run while it was happening, so many people missed out on some of the best stories
He's def slept on!
BRO HIM AND BILL WERE ONE OF THE BEST DOCTOR/COMPANION DUOS WTH
when in reality people really NEED the grumpy angry monologue doctor who actively works on their issues
Tenant is great, but I love the Capaldi's more embittered take more. I also wish that Eccleston had more seasons to flesh out his version.
Please watch the 12th Doctor people. He is worth it.
I don't think 12 had the best era but he's 100% my favourite Doctor, Capaldi felt like an incredible distillation of the character
Having rewatched it I have no idea what I was thinking, it is top tier. Capaldi is one of the greats.
4, 10, 11, 12 are my faves. I also enjoyed 7... but that might have been the relief of 5 & 6 being over.
Honestly, Capaldi is probably the best actor to have played the part.
Watch 12!
Actually, Colin Baker wasn't helped by writers who'd given up, or by farcical storylines, but all he had to do was improve on Davison.
He couldn't. Or didn't.
Then again, Bonnie Langford as a companion wouldn't have helped anyone.
But i'm moreso talking about Big Finish where he has actual good writers and the script editor isn't out to sabotage him
