This is breathtakingly random of me, but are you familiar with @ehimeora.bsky.social's work? You both approach these issues with such similar gentleness and compassion for self and others, despite coming to them from very different angles, that they immediately sprung to mind after reading this.
Thank you so much for tagging me. I resonate with this thread so heavily, because I too, had to teach myself certain traits and create new systems that nourish me. Releasing shame was a big part of that! And that influences how I relate with others too. Thanks for seeing me 💛

Separation between assistance and support crystal clear during college. I had to compete on a “level playing field” with people who had deep levels of support and resources I didn’t even know existed, let alone could use myself. Adulthood is navigating that difference to do my best with what I got.
