Well, they still say the film contains stereotypes or negative depictions. This seems like a particularly meaningless change in syntax more than anything.

But it’s not a meaningless change in the larger context of why it’s happening. Regardless I was responding to the headline, which obviously speaks to the bigger and more insidious trend.

Obviously it’s still early days, but based on the article, it doesn’t even sound like they’re making a big shift or scrapping their DEI policy. The way they’ve been downplaying or erasing queer content is another, genuinely insidious, matter, though that predates this administration.
