Toyota is probably the most reliable make of car on the planet, but we deserved at least the upgrade to Lexus for such a vital part of our transport infrastructure 🙁
Keep telling them it's part of State Highway 1 & next thing you know we'll have a bridge, a tunnel & parking for all the tradies diesel utes & a couple of corollas 👍
Getting rid of the ferries was never about saving money. The blow out is caused by deferred maintenance and someone in the Government must know this. The real reason was killing something major done by Labour. And probably getting rid of the rail capability was popular with the trucking lobby too.
