Our hearts and minds are the realm over which we hold absolute dominion. The real question is, does hatred live there? The first step in solving any problem is knowing it exits.

It’s a bad quote because it frames individual acts of kindness as viable alternatives to organized resistance in the face of organized evil. Capitalists love this framing.
I wonder at it, too. Whoever keeps posting it, must know by now he is polluting the world with disinformation. A lie, a repeated lie, to make the world a better place?

At every Extinction Rebellion recruiting meeting there is someone who asks, “What is an easy, simple thing that a person can do to make a difference in the climate crisis?” Right after we tell them that sacrifices will be required to address an enormous, urgent, life-threatening catastrophe.
So true. In my neighborhood someone put up luminaries lining the streets that come on every night and a group of kids with a parent came by to deliver presents, cookies for adults, toys for the toddlers. Multicultural participation slays America first.

We need concerted proactive persistent acts of kindness.
It's infected about a third. It's the evangelicals who are easily swayed by authoritarian phrasing and wording. Others who are aware that evangelicals are easily swayed are hangers on who know they'll make a major buck.
That but fare more important outsmart them, know what they want, and Biden could make it illegal to talk to foreign leaders without others, lawyers and transceipts, cameras, full transparency. Like it always have been.
The billionaires who hold most of America's wealth are few in number. We overwhelmingly outnumber them. I suggest they read about The Peasants' Rebellion in 1300s England or what happened to Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution.
Wonderful idea. What created this great democracy is blood and tears, twice if you include the civil war. I really do think that what is going to be needed again is the same spirit and blood. Do we have it in us.
Something as simple as giving a stranger a coupon. That happened to me after a hard week as a cashier, lifted my spirit up, and I had a smile through the rest of the day.

It's so sad to witness horrible times such as this; however, it's heart warming to know that we aren't giving up on democracy and it's major tenets are; freedom for all irrespective of your skin colour, equality, justice, freedom of speech, benefits of subsidized health care from tax payers funds...
