This point about clearing land (of trees!) is critical. We cannot feed people and make biofuels without cutting down huge amounts of forest. Bad policy. @steveberry.bsky.social

There are viable benefits from biofuels esp if technology had progressed as fast as solar (algae?). But yes today solar much better.
