Yeah, not sure. The Glazers were ‘better’ because they allowed Woodward to spend with reckless abandon. They got the club close to going bust, then got someone in to tighten the reigns. There are parallels with the change of government. Labour making unpopular decisions to rectify what went before.

I honestly don’t know what to think with these new muppets in charge but I couldn’t care less about them getting the Dan ashworth decision wrong. Fan support for ETH after the fa cup was high and had one year left so the least wrong thing to do was give him a chance and offer him a years extension.

I’m a shop floor worker and we get consistently peeved about the number of office staff there are so it’s not a nice situation but it’s necessary

They are trying to undo years of bad management from glazers, I know some of the timing and staff perks are demoralising but underperformance caused this

Yeah absolutely. People get made redundant everyday. For some reason, at a football club it’s somehow more emotionally triggering. They won’t be getting rid of people that are integral to those area of work.
