Young men should adopt Lewis & Tolkien as masculine role models. Scholars, war heroes, feasting on the nectar of ancient poetry in rain-drenched pubs—and both a million times cooler than Andrew Tate.

I'm not sure people do that today. People have become extremely selfish.
But I'm not 20 or 30 anymore, so this is an educated guess.
Speculating, of course
Tate offers a much more easier path. Bluster. Hate. Judgement. And self aggrandizement. This is way more seductive than actually having self efficacy.
In the past clothes gave shape to the body and were often physically uncomfortable to wear.
Now the body gives shape to clothes, which results in mental discomfort.

I greatly appreciate you in educating me on this!
Shout out to Eddings & Zelazny.
Still, I have enjoyed his writing for many decades.
Still recommending A Grief Observed.
The entire appeal of Andrew Tate is his physicality. He shows off his muscles and does stuff superficially cool to young people. An 18 year old who's looking for guidance on girls and money as zero interest in copying a grandfatherly scholar.
Just ✨ EDUCATED ✨ ones…
Or is the proper term “imperialists”?!?
The Britishness makes it a little cloudy; but the #christian shines right through!
How that twat is popular is beyond me.
