He actually did do some new strips during the Trump years in the lead-up to the reboot that got announced (and later cancelled).

the reagan one really really really made some boomer coworkers angry and i remember feeling like that was one of the few scores i was gonna see for a while against those folks that fall as they blasted off to a stratospheric layer of racism even i didn’t think they could reach.
