In modern history, what is the least popular that party leaders have ever been to their OWN voters? Second place was the GOP in 2009, where their net approval with Republican voters was only +6.

Currently Dems are -8, shattering all previous records.

iirc hakeem jeffries went up against his first political opponent within the same party, by pointing out the man's muslim faith to contrast it with his own christianity. at a time where 9/11 was still fresh in memories. it took him 8 years to finally win that seat, and he's failed upwards ever since

what voters want is a two-fisted moderate who will fight hard for sensible, careful, cost-effective solutions to big problems, & keep things peaceful & quiet. It's clear that Trump voters thought that's who they were getting with Donald Trump, as impossible as that sounds!
