Landslide to Labor. Dutton loses seat. Libs at record low vote with no seats in most major cities…what a night for people ambitious for climate policy
No more need to even ask what the libs will do or what NewsCorp will say
Time to get on with genuine reform.
Libs can catch up or fade further

Lots of the vitriol towards Greens flung around by Labor and media - mostly undeserved - stuck.
And emissions are rising.
We need more than the corporate owned Labor party is capable of delivering, you know this.
Hopefully in 3 years, more of the progressive new media will have convinced enough people to vote more progressive.
( I’m not familiar with Aussie politics )
“The right wingers will vote for us. But we also need the people who don’t want to vote for the socialists”
No more conservative than your average arsonist, directly descended from fascist & racist New Guard officer class and beholden to US & UK nobs & whichever planetfucking plutocrat has rented them this year.
Those pricks haven't gone away.
Hence, the LNP.
The fact is they now may need to seriously regroup and for yet another coalition to gain strength is laughable.
This is historic.
The Greens deserve a voice.
Was very much hoping for a minority govt beholden to a strong cross bench.
Our future is very exciting:

When I think about it, there will be no need for Labour to do deals with Libs in House of Reps to get their agenda through the House. Lab will likely still need to negotiate in the Senate. But both Libs and Greens power will be much diminished.
More chance for good centrist policies not impeded by Green perfectionism.
hey @albomp.bsky.social - if you cut out the toxic SDA MPs, you'd still have a majority!
Disdain is what we will get.
If we want reform, we need actual progressives, not a corporate owned and compromised old party.
