My daughter was mauled by a dog on Christmas Eve. A dog she's loved her entire life and still calls her "best friend." A dog I consider a "nephew." Thankfully, she is healing fine and it seems she won't need plastic surgery, which is a huge relief, but this has really tanked my mental health... 1/2
