What I've learned is that the worst days tend to go easier by picking the simplest things to look forward to and focusing on that. A new episode of a show. A band's new album. Etc. Not 100% foolproof, but it helps me more often than not.
Love to you, Scott. Your work has brought me a lot of joy in both high and low times. Sending good energy for this round to pass and you to receive some joy soon.
I'll be 70 this year, and depression has been kicking my ass for the last 4 decades. I know the pain you are experiencing, and I'm sorry. I sought help spiritually because medicine, doctors, family, and society were not helpful. Each has their own journey to peace. May the Universe bless you.β€οΈβ
Imagine a friend was going through what you're going through. You wouldn't let them stay like this! Take them for a walk, or listening to live music or an art museum or something. Anything *real*
Depression is a black hole and you need a REASON to push for escape velocity.
Remember that youβve gotten through it before and you will again. Currently dealing with winter depression and anxiety myself. Spring canβt come soon enough.
Respect to you for being strong homie. Hit me up if you need to chat. I definitely don't judge because I've done some really bad things in my life and I'm trying to be on the straight and narrow. Much love.
Itβs the worst. Iβm so sorry. I get it to the core of my bones and I send my most understanding love your way. The bad days never last forever. I promise thereβs a good one on the other side β€οΈ

Iβm sorry and I am here. For real. DM if you need an ear.
Otherwise, just take it a minute at a time. π©΅π©΅π©΅
