It’s also cost us $15.5 billion in lost gdp. The public needs to be informed on the post infection risks and we need clean air and good mask advice. Vaccines are not enough at this point in time.

What is your source for the 3 million figure? (I assume you've also seen the ONS figures showing a continuing decline in years of healthy life in the UK, which is consistent with an increase in long Covid.)

From NHS GP survey. Personally think it’s probably 5 or so times that figure. We have so many with symptoms who are putting it down to other things and no screening. They might be one or two infections away from not working. 1 in 3 nurses with long covid symptoms also.
