I think I know the correct ranking of philosophers, and Hume is pretty high up thereon. But, don't worry Kant fans, your boy is easily in the top 300 as well, so don't think I forgot yinz.

Upon closer consideration, I am a bit surprised at this statement. I think figures like Rawls, Habermas, Fanon, Quine, De Beauvoir etc certainly do qualify as canonical philosophers post WW2. Arguable how many of these last a thousand years (I think Rawls does), but there's a lot of these guys!
I used to think there hadn't been that many really good philosophers and cracking the all time top 100 was an attainable goal, before I discovered that bloody podcast
