in case anybody is wondering how we got here
They used to keep it up-to-date by getting an average of 4.5 new buses per year. Then in 2018 that stopped and for five years they didn’t get any.
Often, the parts needed to fix them just weren’t mass-produced anywhere and many were well past their half million mile life expectancy
