I am not shocked.
Businesses are exploiting Trump's cruelty to oppress their workers.
My old employer did this during Trump's first term.
Threatened to have me deported in spite of me being an US born US citizen just because I ain't White and was demanding better wages and working conditions.

Wow. Going after labor leaders, often with the enthusiastic consent of their employers (looking at you, Ford), was a hallmark of military dictatorships in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, etc. in the 70s (and many other dictatorships around the world).
