Email from Columbia President Armstrong makes clear that admin still has no idea what it’s dealing with. No amount of “serious action to combat antisemitism” (read: punish Palestine activists) will satisfy the Nazis. They see universities as an enemy institution to crush underfoot.

I reject higher education if higher education requires the concept of a hedge fund to operate. Colombia is not the only college doing this or operating in this way. Damn near all of them.

I recently had time to kill and no phone. I happened to have an NYU Law alumni magazine in my car. It was 18-20 months old. It was very liberal. Lots of discussions of alumni doing reproductive rights work and anti-authoritarian work.
