I think everyone will agree that the most ignorant Metal album ever is Surfin' M.O.D. from the eponymous band M O.D.

The backing vocals on Surfin'USA and the melodrama played out between songs makes it worth a listen. A listen, as in singular. Anything beyond that is just masochistic and spiteful.

I hear you. Although I am from another generation. My go to now is drowning myself in Dylan which was sparked by the movie "A Complete Unknown". His music was too mature for me in 1961 since I was only 9. But I inhaled him by 1966 when I was 14.
