My village had an annual snail day. Hundreds of thousands of the little blighters boiled in huge vats of water and garlic. The stench was disgusting but worse was the sight of people devouring the things, juice sneered over their chins & cheeks...a truly sickening spectacle!🤮
If someone has gone to the effort of making me a meal, of course I would eat it. I have in fact, eaten escargot a la bordelaise cooked by our good French friend. They're delicious
