1) The RW has had an echo chamber for years. 2) Every leftie has heard every RW argument multiple times. See #1. 3) Conservatives have opposed every social advance since FDR ( SS, Medicare, Medicaid, FDA EPA, car safety, anti-smoking, the ERA, climate science).

I left Twitter in 2016 (and tried going back to it a couple of times in 2017), because it was unbearable.

Bot infestation effect? I have no idea, but it was absolutely rude, crude and bullshit-riddled.

So far Bluesky feels….better.
