I'll never get people highlighting shovelware as some sort of negative towards a console's library, as if it dilutes its overall quality.
Shovelware is a consequence of success, you only get shovelware if your platform is a hit.

This obviously doesn't apply in the digital slop age, as the internet somehow makes everything a little bit worse including shovelware somehow.
The amount of slop you gotta wade through to find the gems just usually isn't worth it - especially today when we have a booming indie game environment with intentionally well designed games
