" And UnitedHealthcare is offering certain employees in its benefits operations unit the option to accept buyouts if they quit by March 3, following a tumultuous year for the insurance giant, CNBC has learned."
He should get the death penalty but I don't think they have that in NY.
I guess we can all pay the 80 grand per year to keep him alive for the next 60 something years. Yippee.
My upbringing years ago says if you do the crime, do the time. But, I’m on the fence now considering how terrible our CEO class has become awful citizens and have placed profits over American society.
Meanwhile Musks private security, which I am curious if taxpayers are paying for, gets deputized by US Marshals office. I guess Musk doesn’t trust US law enforcement. He doesn’t back the blue.
True. But both things can be and are true. He is a murderer as well. He is not heroic to me and I have advocated for universal healthcare since 1990. When we adopt the cruelty of our opposition we have lost the battle. IMHO.
We have already lost the battle by nothing changing since then. When will people learn the ideal “violence is not the answer” was just taught to keep us compliant?
In a democracy, problems are solved through policy, not force. The US healthcare might be deeply flawed but 2 years ago Americans still preferred private healthcare
People claim Luigi is the result of being ignored for so long, but I'm yet to see a general strike for better healthcare, for example
Well it sure hasn't for my murderous state that has now started suffocating people to death like we did last week. The people here love it. You should read their comments on our state's sanctioned murder we whitewash as 'capital punishment!'
A crime is a crime and the person committing it should go through the justice system. How’ve r, United Healthcare and so many other health insurers (car and home insurers as well) should be reigned in. Heath Insurers should not dictate the care but clinicians should.
Agreed. It is even better than that nowadays as it comes with a twist: it only works for the wealthy but also for people who revere the President. Smartest strategy for anyone in trouble is to bend a knee to Trump or Musk, give them personally something of value…
And the “bought” clinicians working for the insurance company shouldn’t have to control how a patient is treated, “that person left their medical field and integrity when they decided to work for the insurance”
Th idiot in chief and his sharpie should sign and executive order about that since he love executive orders… but he won’t because there is too much money at stake for him and his band of thieves
The Assassins. Of 11,600 +American citizens Shot dead by gun Violence in 2024 have not had a Terrorist Charge added to their Arrest Warrants.
Strange that. The Establishment. Ralling around the CEO Management..

Will never understand obsession with criminals (especially Luigi who loved Musk, et. al.) because people seemingly think this violence aligns with their political ideals.

Democracies are the best way to ensure them, so undermining it, even in the name of a fundamental right, risks them
Tell us capitalism has a war on poor people without saying rich people have a war on poor people.
