I was really pleased to find my local library has a "Philosophy" section. Less pleased to see the three subsections: "Angels", "Ghosts" and "Astrology".

I’ll take a guess that this is a small public library. They usually use the Dewey Decimal system and philosophy and psychology are the 100 range, while angels etc would befound under 200. And very likely the shelving is just adjacent.
Just have to jump in as a former librarian: Based on the dewey decimal system, this is just how it’s organized. Philosophy is section 100, with metaphysics, occultism, psychology, and logic being subdivided in. Religion then follows in the 200s. It’s just the system as it’s been for ages.
the ancient greeks talked a LOT about both angels and ghosts (daemons) and jung did a pretty good study of astrology and statistics in his synchronicity papers.
just my 2c.
Wait til you see the 'metaphysics' section. T'would make Aristotle weep. Has any domain of philosophy (besides the theology-adjacent) experienced such a rapid decline in esteem? It's sad in a way; at its best metaphysics is an attempt to do in language what physicists do via math and science.
Funny thing is that Aristotle called it metaphysics because it was simply what came after his work "Physics." The modern usage differs quite a bit from what was intended.

They all have their own range of numbers, no one is shelving Wittgenstein next to grimoires
