For the fact that I'm following quite a number of people, and have a reasonable number of followers, engagement here is decreasing lately. What is it? Are people overwhelmed by mass posters in the following feed? Where is everyone?

That's what I'm worried about. The following feed is like a death spiral, due to so much negativity being posted. It's almost like there's nothing else anymore.
Yes, things are bad. But also. Look around, there are also good things going on. Dwelling in political madness hardly makes life better.
Which is why #Feeds exists. Post with # and get your posts into Feeds, which use # to populate, and you'll likely see greater engagement.
Shit's bad. I don't blame people. Something GREAT about Bluesky is you can still go to the site and decide "not right now" and easily filter for relevant stuff.
The problem I have with most feeds is that they are either too specific or hijacked by people retweeting other people's stuff that they feel must be in there. I hate that last one. If people are not active for a day or two here, they completely disappear. That's a shame.
Well on Twitter you saw those people because you regularly interacted. It didn't matter how many people you followed. If you interacted with me, you saw me. Here that's different. You'll lose them, if they don't post every ten minutes. Some people do, which crowds the following feed. Quiet Posters!
Yes, this is why I follow the quiet posters feed. At least it filters out all the mass-posts from the hyperactive posters. I have the feeling that this feed contains the more interesting posts from people that post maybe once a day, if that. But even there, the ecology people are now quiet.

I know I'm checking my own alt Feeds as timelines more lately. Otherwise no way to get a break from the news while skimming for social media stuff.
