What happens in Ukraine is on lower scale when you look at casualties and casualties as a percentage of population or the number of children killed, and Ukraine is getting vast amounts of money and arms and ammunition - like Israel, which faces no sanctions, unlike Russia.

Ukraine's pop is 38m. Occupied Palestine 5.3m and Gaza alone 2.3m.

Usual civilian death estimate for Ukraine is 13 000, if we take a claim from an Ukrainian gov source about civilian deaths per day, then it would be 42 000.

Gaza has ~55 000 dead and missing, with ~75 children, women and elderly.

The official death toll was 45 129 after yesterday, but at least 51 people have been killed in Gaza (and 6 in West Bank, where death toll is over 820).

Over 10 000 people are missing officially, but that and the official direct death toll are almost certainly severe undercounts.

If you count indirect deaths, there are no good information on them (excess deaths) but no recent conflict of this scale and nature has had less than 3 indirect deaths per 1 direct.
