The problem with the article is that it treats Patel’s lies as things The NY Times reporters discovered and that may be disqualifying. But the lies, and the person they’re intended to benefit, are precisely the **reason** Patel was chosen. He’s willing to blatantly rewrite history for Trump. Period.
