Sign of the times - literally impossible to buy a Sunday newspaper in central London. Not stocked in Tesco Express. Newsagents have vanished. Not even the little news stand in Green Park station sells them anymore.

The margin for newspapers is playing card thin. And when you add insurances, rates, rents and paying wages that margin vanishes. Perhaps seeing it as a social good and the councils provide Kiosks like you see in EU cities like Athens for the corner shop is a thing of the past.
They're quite heavy. People in the country: used to carrying heavy things. People in central London: not used to carrying heaving things. I think that explains it.
