Today, I introduced HF1335 authorizing you to have an electronic driver’s license on your phone.
This wouldn’t be a replacement for a physical dl but could lead to that in the future as technology is adopted.

I’m a BIG fan of my virtual wallet, and while I understand the risks of handing my phone to a cop, I’m wondering if there’s a way to do this that isn’t a Bad Idea.
If they do want to do that, make the system first, -then- promote the software. Doing it this way doesn't make sense.
