Families should also file wrongful death suits against the hospitals that failed to provide life saving care because they have no objective criteria or don't follow criteria established to treat people in crisis who need abortions to save their lives or prevent irreparable harm to their health.

Without an intact rule of law and an ethical judiciary, there is no legal recourse. Trying to use the law, to hold people who are above the law accountable, doesn’t really work.

It's a tough fight, but we know the rules of civil social discourse. Our Civil Rights leaders led the way. Just picture if the fog of misinformation was lifted—people would see through the manipulation.

Take South Korea as a model of an informed society; people there acted quickly and decisively.

Yes, South Korea did lead the way. It helped that the South Koreans valued their democracy and kept people out of their government that did not believe in democracy. We welcomed fascists into our government. The people were conned into voting to end democracy, but they did and that has consequences.

There’s a lot of truth to that. We’ve been subjected to Soviet propaganda methods for the last 40 years, starting with Reagan and the religious Right. Today there is also a subliminal component at work too, that’s what makes the propaganda stick.
