I replied to Fred Wellman's glowing review of her being so "courageous" for focusing on the country over being trans and went to go screenshot it so I could share it here, but good old Fred blocked me after condemning her and asking will she dress like a man. I was not kind.

I don’t disagree, but also: they want this fight and I don’t think there’s a lot of point in giving it to them when she knows the democrats will absolutely not have her back. Then again, I don’t think there is much of a point in participating in mainstream American politics at all at this point.

if you’re not backed by a more radical caucus within the dems or a more radical party, you’re just feeding fuel to the fire. plus, she’s an imperialist who wants to send more weapons to Israel. so my hopes for her are pretty dim.

Yes. Standards and norms should be ignored to make a point, rather than a difference. Just like when those ladies insisted on bringing guns onto the floor of the Capital. What a difference they made, without engendering any ill-will.
