I always thought of Marsden as a pretty boy, a lightweight. But he went toe to toe his own against Sterling K. Brown, who is a dramatic powerhouse. Fantastic hour of television.
I have been imagining since it finished how different presidents would have handled the same situation. I think Obama would have done the same as Bradford maybe Biden too but Trump? Would he call Putin? Maybe get on one of Elon's rockets? I can't imagine. Is there really a blue option?
Made me cry and then I thought about current events in this country. Yikes! Also, reminded me I am not wealthy enough or know anyone important to be saved. My life in their eyes is not important 😔
That was excellent. Very intense. Lot of great performances throughout the series, esp. Sterling Brown and Julianne Nicholson, but Marsden is steadily stealing the show as it moves along.
One of the more stressful episodes of television I've seen in a while. Very affecting, the show started a little slow for me but it's been cooking with gas since episode 3.
I don't think I'm gonna be able to watch it anymore after next week's season ending episode. It's just too close to current events. I choose to watch shows as a DIVERSION, not to get stressed out more!!
Tom, are you watching severance? I heard a lot of people saying how good it was, but I resisted for some reason. I binge watched it and I think it’s the best show I’ve ever seen

Next week is the Season 1 finale. I'm going to suffer withdrawls.
