Reform or the Tories will slaughter a new party in the next election
And the solution doesnβt begin on the next election day - democracy is a 24/7/365 thing. Local elections next month - vote Green.
ReformUK has its hardcore voters that are far right...
They've been driven to Reform by...
Offer them something different. Offer them a far left progressive party that will tax the wealthy appropriately, that will...
A party that will rewrite the social contract so it benefits the 99% of us and stick to it.
I'm Scottish & I'm in favour of independence. I know people who'd always been unsure of or against independence that are now all in on it...
Personally, Owen, I think you & and Gary from Garys economics would be a good pair to get the progressive party started if not lead.
You'd have my vote - providing you granted Scottish Independence.
I agree I would never vote Reform (but I'm Scottish & want independence).
Certain people who feel this hopelessly caused by the Westminster establishment are...
He's outside of the establishment. And is promising to fix everything (even if its all lies). Desperate people don't think logically.
Westminster has made an ever growing number of people desperate
Westminster is a sh*t show. Which is why I (as a Scot) & growing numbers of my compatriots want independence
They have been since the day Starmer took over
They have lost the plot
There's a lot of deprogramming to do, but I'm not sure how.
Take the power away from the 1%
Bottom up politics.. real democracy... Revolution
We need to build that alternative.
The fact is, people haven't been elected if they promise substantial tax rises.
And 'tax the rich' is magical thinking. The unusual thing about the UK tax system is how lightly taxed average earners are.
1/2
But please be honest about it. If you promise everything to people with no financial impact on them, it simply can't work. It's not a serious position.
Iβm also not keen on the idea of getting behind a charismatic leader, history teaches us that often doesnβt work out so well.
The hurdle to change though isn't identifying a totemic leader who will spend most of their time juddering in a lightning conductor meets MSM kind of mess.
Why reinvent the wheelhouse when 4 Green MPs can be more next General Election?
Why do you think YOU are in any position to play Thought Leader when you're catching up with
Calm down, take a backseat, LISTEN to people who are actually involved, and again fucking calm down cos who the fuck are you anyway Owen why can't you get the fuck over yourself

Maybe itβs my eyes
I couldnβt put my support behind them when they donβt seem to know how much they support us or not.
And suspending members for transphobia, but still having several transphobic factions.
Thereβs no difference between the frying pan and the fire when the result is the same.
"Nick Clegg, we know you.
You're a f***ing Tory, too!"
Opening arms to the Liberals closes the door to those looking for a home after the consolidation of hard-right control of Labour. You can't just add things together numerically and not take that into account.
Forget them, they have to vote for us anyway!
And even if they don't, they're too few to matter anyway!
And even if leftists who won't vote for us somehow become numerous to hurt us electorally, they can serve as our scapegoat!
(Hard-core commies not welcome)
Educated/former commies who don't take it seriously (like religion) welcome.
Avoid the Socialist word, after 60+ years its more or less considered a slur and not its description.

#Corbynwasright
Too many years of the incompetent Corbyn have left the country in its current parlous state!
the most corrupt. the most cruel. the most malicious. the most bigoted. the most dishonest. the most violent.
labour are dead to me.
Kinder, gentler politics innit?
On the back of this Iβm convinced Reform will form the next government in coalition with the Tories
Hearing this in Liverpool
Labour are worse than the Tories we may as well give Farage a go
If Iβm hearing it here you can amplify that around the rest of the country
That's true what they say about looking for the money trail. The russia always keep an eye for their whores.
Itβs what the polls are telling you
Short term memory loss is a pain isn't it π₯Ί
Bit more than grim
Every poll saying the same
Bookies have priced up accordingly
Next UK PM
Farage 3/1 fav
Badenoch 7/1 2nd fav
Whichever party has the most seats out the 2 will by default become PM
Looking like Farage
If that doesnβt work then I might just move to Scandinavia π€·πΌββοΈ
The Labour right has always been more invested in dismantling left wing ideology than anything else. Wouldn't be surprised if that was part of it, they get contracts, line their pockets and falsely smear socialism due to a ghastly media.
(If we're doing "worst ever" though Empire-era probably wins)
#VoteGreen π³οΈ
i care about labour. labour have got to go.
i want labour gone.
It leaves the libdems and greens. It's looking like the only way out here.
1. Reinstate domcracy by selecting those who have had little - Libs, Green, SNP, Plaid.
2. Deny Reform.
3. Humble Labour & Tories.
Within those 4 last parties, all political views can be traditionally represented. However, tactically vote for any depending on constituency.
Doing it this way, opens for traditional parties to be uncaptured over time.
This is it, Britain. Either do this or continue on the same path of begging oligarchic privatisation governments. Sorry Owen, your plan wont work.
"The Labour party was built on protest, but now seeks only to harden oppressive laws."

much as I wish that wasn't the case,
and without England the rest aren't enough.
I would argue the Greens in Scotland push the SNP to be better, but a lot of that is because they are competing for ideas and support.
This is mirrored (in shit) by the Tories and Reform
