That was another brilliant interview that I missed live Zoe. Thanks for the link and words. Yes,the scapegoating of migrants has become a political art, and the only victims are those who literally die seeking a better life, and others attacked verbally and physically. One world one people one love.

Very good, and the conclusion was very strong too.

The more people start to see that migration is beneficial to the UK and that asylum seekers are victims who not only need help but who can also help us, the better.

The choice of Italy to an extent reveals the Cabinet to be playing safe. With France and Germany finding their govts in a state of turmoil, going to another big player shows a willingness to engage with Europe but without thinking things through. It is more theatre, badly scripted.

Zoe, an issue affecting this space is the conflation of immigration & asylum. There's quite a lot of consensus that net migration is reduced (last year being circa 1 million). What's your view here, from a numerical perspective in respect to asylum on 1 hand & social/economic migration on the other?
