I dunno, life in general's taught me to put a hell of a premium on shit like that, and as close as I've ever come to being in the wrestling business was the time I tried to hide Orange Cassidy behind me when The Boogeyman was after him.
Asked a promoter in the UK this about Bret Hart once and he said "he's one of the few wrestlers who likes the fans and doesn't call them strawbs as they walk away."
Who would like that machismo shit talking crap to begin with?
I liked it when I was fuckin nine years old with a childish competitive mind
A bunch of gym rats in tights that were afraid of, or not good enough to play football
🤔, Trying for Starters.., 🙏!

Wrestling Entertainment is the gayest thing I've ever seen. Big sweaty men wearing speedos putting each other in holds and moves close enough to lick each others nut sacks.
Every wrestler I've ever met has been very cool. Granted, this leans hard toward locals but I've only had normal ass good experiences. Check out Denver, everybody. Good people, good shows, and if you ain't on Lucha Libre and Laughs who are you really.
You’re considering martial arts actors, most of whom are on steroids for the looks, doing a job that destroys their physical form over time, watched mostly by toxic dudes, Republicans, and toxic dude Republicans, with fake hyperdrama ‘beefs’ and expecting normal outcomes?
I personally have enjoyed watching MMA and wrestling. (I’m not a toxic dude or a Republican, but probably would not go in person due to that element.) I fully do not expect normal from either the fighters or the fighter-actors.
Big shout to Rick Elsey at Squared Circle Pro in Lubbock, TX, for being a stand-up promoter and also a very nice, wonderful human being. Probably the nicest man I have ever met in this business.
Can confirm. Paid Mick for a cameo for my dad’s birthday last year. Told him how my dad rented his HIAC match at blockbuster for us. Was expecting 30 seconds at most.
Mick sent a nearly 4 minute video not only wishing my dad a happy birthday but also talking about that HIAC. Was awesome as hell.
That’s awesome. Mick spoke about that a bunch on the podcast he used to have. His rational was people were paying good money for those messages, so he always wanted to give them their money’s worth.
I think he’s one of the highest rated athletes on Cameo, review-wise.

Do with that what you will.
“You’re a normal person.”
Nah, I can do better. You’re doing a phenomenal job and everything I’ve watched that you’ve been involved in has been thoroughly enjoyable.
