@govpritzker.illinois.gov can a state withhold federal contributions in the amount of fed dollars withheld or cancelled? A state has to survive. If the government reneges on promised funding, that state’s contributions fund, those states should hold back contributions to match what they’re losing
I follow from the UK. I love to see how Governor Pritzker really looks after the people he's been elected by. I'm woefully undereducated about US politics but he's clearly a decent person who understands his remit. Just a dude.
His family is huge on giving back. Yes they are billionaires but they donate to so many places. There names are on many buildings and they are humble people as well. During the pandemic him and the mayor Lori Lightfoot handled it so well. Plus he is not scared of Trump glad he is our Governor!
He's my Governor here in Illinois. Everyone has health insurance in Illinois. Everyone goes to college in Illinois. Average income is $70,000. Some of the best hospitals. No one is turned away. If you go to er with no insurance. A person comes and sign you up for one of many plans.

I have no doubt that Illinois will make the best of the hand they are dealt. The blue states will struggle but find a way to make it work but the rest will flounder and suffer. Sadly this will only deepen their misfortunes until this administration implodes... then we will build back better!
Thank you. It would be crazy not to push education in hope AI would become widely understood before it’s oligarch tool. But will we get the 💰 back here? I live in a 55+ area that funds a grade school in a nearby low-income area. I’m glad kids are getting a good education, but our taxes are high now.
The sad thing is that is their purpose. Thank you for being on the frontlines to oppose it. The more you dumb down the population the more they follow.
Especially after so many kids missed critical steps during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will struggle to keep up for the rest of their lives. They need MORE, not less.
