going to focus on my journey as a baby witch and look into some healing and calming spells/crystals ✨🥺🔮🖤 if anyone has any advice, please let me know? I’m personally so drawn to plants and nature’s healing properties 🌿🌱 #witchsky

My advice is you don’t need to buy lots of different herbs etc. Choose 5 common herbs that you would have in your kitchen and study, work with them, learn their energy and spirit. And if you are going to work with crystals, look into ethical traders. Crystal mining is really harming the environment
Just know from doing Lakota style sweat lodges for years that sage and cedar are a good combination. Sage is for protection, cedar for attracting positivity. Tonk (shelf mushrooms) can be burned to get rid of evil forces--they don't like the smell.
My advice is to look for your local rock and mineral show this spring/summer. Lots of vendors deal in crystals at great deals and prices. The knowledge you pick up is invaluable. My goto calming crystal is Blue Agate 💙
-Amethyst for calming
-Clear quarts for healing
-Onyx or smoky quartz for protection
-Citrine for confidence and success
-Jade or aventurine for money and prosperity
-Moon stone for balancing emotions

I posted a massive amount of protection spells yesterday in a lil menty b fueled episode I had yesterday, feel free to check out the thread! It's not terribly far back on my profile feed.
A lot of information is free on the Internet, though you have to be discerning.
Also your local library is a good place to start wading through books. Even if they don't have good ones, you'll start recognising how to spot what's good and what's warmed over rehash.
My advice is to look for crystals in person whenever possible. Correspondence lists are nice but being able to use what you are personally drawn to will always be more powerful. My other advice is to incorporate your spell or meditation into a routine you are already doing.
For example doing a small spell on a cup of tea that you have during dinner. Or taking the time when youre brushing your teeth to work on grounding to the earth and being present/mindful. As a disabled person, I have found it helpful to add small moments to my day to day instead of doing large spell
Apologies if this is off topic, but consider learning meditation. I'm not positive but I think there are meditation techniques specific to most flavors of witchcraft. It pays tremendous benefits over time.

Plus coffee may help, as well.
