Spurs throwing away a good lead with wildly reckless mistakes - so frustrating that people will blame Ange for this, but you can’t legislate for players pulling the pin on a grenade and then stuffing it down their own shorts

Yes there were individual mistakes, but once again the tactics were incredibly naive. At 2-0 up you do not need to leave gaping holes across the defense and play a high line.
This is the beginning of the end for Ange now. Whatever you might think about exciting futures, in the present you need results. 🤷🏼♂️ He'll be gone before 2025 at this rate.
You can wonder, however, why we’ve risked 2 of our most important players when it was obvious neither of them were ready, and will now possibly both miss another month of football. That is on Ange.
Ange works best when the players are energised and wanting to win. I don’t think there’s been a winning mentality at Spurs for some time. He doesn’t appear to have had as much freedom in bringing in the players he wants. It was some of his transfer choices that are still working wonders at Celtic.
The buck stops with the manager. The one that stands and stares and offers nothing from the sidelines. He is either genuinely shocked at what he is seeing, or clueless how to change it.
Maybe nothing he can do, plenty a better coach could do.

None of the Chelsea goals are really the fault of his tactics - as far as I can see. And his tactics have carved out 4 or more chances for Tottenham. Son could and maybe should have won this game, but such is football.
We’ve done it about 4 times this season and the problem is we only bought teenagers this summer, there’s no seasoned pros to bring in and steady things. The lack of leadership on the pitch is just maddening
Yeah I don’t doubt the mistakes with squad building or transfer strategy. I just think this manager will build something good if we give him time and resources, just like Liverpool signed Van Dijk after Spurs put 4 past them
I hope we back him. The system has faults - they all do - but we create plenty of chances, we’re wasteful too often and the spine of the team is weak when there’s a bit of adversity. Another new manager isn’t going to change anything because the issues are clearly deeper

Spurs are just not a good team.
No one can really be THAT Spursy.
But at the same time, we play on the edge and are always one misplaced pass away from conceding a goal. We struggle to execute it even when healthy.
