It's the Juicero of tech
I often compare it to Predictive Text. Like... Sure, that's being a bit reductionist but at its core, that's what it's doing - writing words while trying to figure out the best choice of next words.

And it is hard to not be at least somewhat sympathetic to that fear, because we ALL have either been impacted by layoffs or have industry friends impacted by layoffs in the tech bloodletting that’s happened these past few years. But..
Pretend I’m articulating myself much better than someone that should have gone to bed long before it hit 1:42 am 🫣
It feels like now is the moment we have the best chance to prevent some of the harm AI creates in its current iteration, and we are watching that window slowly fade with very few people aware or trying to do something.
Not gonna be pretty.
