Patel's t-shirts do not say "made in USA." The FTC has strict rules for who can use that label. The shirt has to be cut and sewn in the United States and made from fabric that was woven or knitted in the United States. Not all companies adhere to this rule. Many lie.

Have you used these? I'm intrigued. Regular sharpies don't run under water exactly, but they do indeed fade quickly in the wash. Definitely not good for decorating clothing.

I used a sharpie to draw on an eye on fabric and I sprayed it with febreeze and it ran. So I never trusted it after that. They are better on paper.

I have not used or tested those stained sharpies before. I just know that fabric markers or paint (acrylic with fabric softener in it) is the better 😅

Oh yeah that was probably the febreeze. Not sure what's in that stuff; I've not used it. But sharpies are alcohol ink so you can remove or make it run on most surfaces with alcohol (good news if you're needing to clean a ruler). There might be other solvents that dissolve sharpie too

I actually work for the company that owns Sharpie! I can confirm that while they do source some components and packaging from some other countries, most if not all of our product manufacturing (I believe all of it for Sharpie) is done in the US. I'm just in packaging design though, so don't quote me
