The HIGHLANDER franchise is a strange one. It consists of one halfway decent film, one moderately okay TV series and four utterly terrible films (one of which might be the worst ever made). The rare case where the very concept is far cooler than the actual output.

i think you are tragically mistaken to think there was anything else.

Then it went and did great business on video so Panzer/Davis decided to blatantly ignore that.
Side note: she was in a movie I wrote, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with!
Though I like Queen's FLASH GORDON soundtrack on an equal level!
Hopefully this year's soon-to-be-filmed reboot sorts all of that out. Just no more aliens from the planet Zeist, for the love of God!
Keep The Watchers. And definitely Methos living on holy ground.
Wash your mouth out.
Got both on original vinyl because I am an old. 🤣
I like the first. It’s silly. It’s flawed. It’s also kinetic and cool.
But then there's that second film. And the third. And the fourth. And the fifth. Hooboy!
It’s just about the most lore-reversing sequel ever.
Highlander: There can be only one
Highlander II: There should have been only one
…
Highlander The Series: There never should’ve been one
I didn’t watch it when it aired (I agree about them cutting her hair, though), but speaking of syndicated shows, I AM one of the eleven people that did watch and enjoy “The Crow: Stairway to Heaven”. I thought Mark Dacascos did a decent job in the lead.
Speaking of syndication, remember “Superboy/The Adventures of Superboy”? 😏
When Dacascos popped up in JOHN WICK 3, I cheered!
The Highlander movie is beyond decent and is fucking magical.
The music alone is worth the movie. Getting Queen to do the soundtrack.
Clancy Brown as Kurgan, one of the greatest villains.
Now, the Scottish guy playing a Spainard was a bit too much.
Everything else, great.
"Tell me, shon, do you ever get that not sho fresssh feeling?"
"Neither", he replies. "It's for my armpits..."
I'm here all week, folks.
I think Widen's original script was better.
Man, that was a mistake. That show is horrible. Decided to keep the memories rather than burn my eyes by rewatching as an adult.
But they ALWAYS are. 😀
