Lizzo is correct. If it’s in the bird it’s stuffing. If it’s cooked outside as not to absorb all of the turkey bacteria, it’s dressing.

Dressing and Stuffing are the same ingredients. But they call it stuffing because you stuff it in the turkey. Dressing you cook it separately from the turkey and serve it as a side dish. I'm a chef. That's what I usually do. Stuffing must be at least 165 F before it can be served inside the turkey.
