I found this in the bad place last week.
The first Stephen King book I read was Christine. I was probably 10 or 11.
What was your first SK book?

My all time favorite is The Stand.
Every generation gets the call to defend the Light from the Darkness, Shell.
The Darkness just showed America exactly who and what he is, and what he's going to do to America.
I refuse to abandon the Light!
It's our turn.
Was so proud I read a book with that many pages !
- Read "The Stand"
Have read it 5 or 6 times, and I love it every time. But first time I read it, I did it in one sitting, and I was blown away.
Best book ever.
First because I read one straight after the other.
Canada and Mexico!
I can't remember but it's one these 3 :
The Running Man
The Long Walk
Thinner
I'm currently rereading The Stand.
My first was The Gunslinger -I had always avoided Sai King, because of the ‘horror’ label. His works are SO much more. Just reread the entire Black Tower series back to back. Amazing.
I loved it. I've been collecting Stephen King books ever since. Only missing a few now to complete the collection.
He is absolutely worth reading, also for non-horror readers.
It is absolutely beautiful.
And I was hooked.
I thought it was an amazing book.
I think it would be an awesome competition (without the shooting of course) with a million dollar prize for the winner.
