have you played at all with making lists? you can make a feed out of any list you make, might be worth throwing one together of people you follow who don't (tend to) post politics. it doesn't work perfectly but it at least slows the pace of the spiraling passing in front of you

I think the issue for me is right now pretty much everybody is posting politics amongst their other stuff (and for good reason!) so I’m hit with it whether I’m ready to sit in that space or not. people who post all politics are getting muted or unfollowed
