My wife works as a nurse in an emergency department (in Pgh) and says the show is just her daily life. I really wish the capitalist sociopaths who run the economy would watch it and let it sink in how evil they and their decisions are, but unfortunately those people will never watch this show.

I've had to visit the ER a few times in my life and when I watch, The Pitt, it reminded me of those unfortunately times, I laid in a hospital bed in an ER. They have done a good job with the realistic feel of an ER.

Actually! My dad has 2 brothers with 4 sons. So technically, my uncle's kids are my cousins to us and one another. So Anthony, who is Bob's son is Jim's nephew. And his cousin is my brother, Kurt.

And Kurt was my former roommate.

I work in an ER and even the old show ER didn’t have it right. Nothing ever moves at that pace. Except in a code situation. Other than that it’s either very sick and injured people wanting help or whining and demanding people with a head cold or hangnail. The rest is mundane.

The show is about as gripping as it can get and Wyle is incredible as the lead!! Every episode sucks me in and I hang on for dear life until it's over. Can't imagine working in a real ER. If you haven't watched The Pitt, do it tonight!
