New genetic promiscuity. Superficial neurocristic EWSR1::FLI1 fusion tumor. Same fusion as Ewing sarcoma but benign. There is life in this whole morphology thing yet.

At the time, this was the best reference I could find: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22098102/ Some or most of these patients might have been regular Ewing--the metastatic risk is not 0, and most patients received chemo.
Dilemma remains whether or not we should deescalate treatment in these patients.
