The UK is among the worst nations in Europe for child poverty.

In the UK, 11% of 15-year-olds reported they had skipped a meal in 2022 because there wasn't enough money to buy food.

In the Netherlands and Finland, this number was 3%.

Do you know how many of these families living in UK poverty have parents who smoke cigarettes, inhale chemicals from vapes, drink alcohol or take drugs? I know they don't all. Also, families, where parents live apart, pay rent on 2 properties.

Those immensely rich pensioners on £13000 lost £350 an equivalent of 2.7% cut in income. So why can’t the poor folk on £100k + cope with a 2.7% rise in tax. I’ve voted Labour all my life and they are getting on my tits now.
