Okay, I have looked at spoilers for the next thing I need to do in Blue Prince, and it's time to say I'm done with Blue Prince! Awesome game! Recommended! Bye bye.

i'm only on day 40 or so and haven't hit that yet, but I'm seeing people on reddit saying there's some pretty tedious stuff in the late endgame? How far were you?
To be clear, the puzzles have reached a level of obscurity that I don't see them as satisfying. I looked at some hints and said "Seriously?" instead of "Oh, that was a good one."
One thing it has me thinking about is the game is built so naturally people will drop off along the ramp and only a few will persevere to the actual end, but outside rolling credits there’s really no way to put it down AND feel satisfied. It’s always a point where the player gives up.
Yes, I agree with that. It might not be even theoretically fixable. There are too many mysteries to invest any of them with a sense of "this is *the* end."
Agreed. Whenever I consider "how would I fix [flaw]?" in this game, all my solutions would, I think, take away something significant to the experience that I think is necessary or intentional.
To some extent it feels like it’s by design, there’s a few different things in the late game around the general theme of the mysteries and secrets never ending (or refusing to accept that you’ve reached the end) and spiraling into obsession forever
Yeah, I didn't fit it into my post, but I think a lot about the lingering feeling that it is unfinished / unfinishable is recognized / acknowledged in game, and might be intentional. I'd really like to see that kind of theme in a game that more fully emphasizes it through the narrative.
In Animal Well, I got to a clear "this is the end" moment. All the exploring I did after that was unstressed "I'll poke around a bit before I put it away" sightseeing.
BP has many possible exit points (I reached several) but most of them don't have a sense of closure associated with them.
