Pints of Guinness will forever be a favorite. So many good memories screaming at the top of my lungs to that song with my closest friends. Best time I saw it live was Ironfest 2022. That event and that night meant a lot to me. Thanks.

I first listened to it during my senior year of high school, back when I was getting into anarcho punk in 2019 (no Crass, unfortunately). While not my favorite Against Me! album, it still holds a special place in my heart, especially my favorite track, "8 Full Hours of Sleep."

Completely cemented my criteria for what makes a punk record sound and feel as authentic as a basement show... Later when I was actually playing basement shows, couldn't even nod at "pints of Guinness" without everybody singing. Play an Amin at that rhythm, the next 4 minutes are out of your hands.

Low-quality recordings can sound bad but this one just sounds so unique and full of character, it just works so well. I feel like every extra $100 in the recording budget would have brought down the album's appeal by 5%. Still one of my all-time favourites to this day

I was on tour with a band that summer and somehow we ended up with just the booklet of this album in our van. By the end of the tour, it was already one of my favorite albums before I even heard a note.

A friend of a friend gave me a burned copy of this record in 9th grade study hall. This was a formative moment.

The tracks were all in the wrong order and most of “Crime” was mixed in. I found the handwritten liner notes that came with it in an old cd binder recently.
