Uh…in certain sections, yes. I had to stop a friend with PTSD surrounding sexual assault and abuse from reading it at the last minute.
There are parts that get very dark. Very dark.

Metaphor can of course be multi-layered and mean many things at once, but I'm starting to think the neural sponge is almost like transness itself.
There's a lot about transness that's still a black box to the cis, and it sure seems like it should stay that way.
